Source: IOP meeting abstract MA2025-0283398mtgabs (open abstract, not a methods read).
- PTFE fibrillation in dry-processed electrodes was read with torque trends and SEM.
- The abstract tracks degree of fibrillation and morphology against processing time.
- A weak reading, in that framing: less effective fibrillation, a weaker PTFE network, worse mechanical stability, worse Li-ion and electron pathways.
- Not in that abstract: fibril length, resistivity, or any numeric threshold. Do not invent them.
This is a readout claim. It does not replace the frozen process relations (10+5 μm at 14 MPa; higher pressure can fracture particles; calendering can slow wetting).
Still frozen
Mixing order, web tension, calender temperature, pass count, residual moisture, foil primer, tensile strength: searched, not extracted. Access walls or restatements of particle size and pressure. Not added.
