Blorp: the canon
Blorp is a small round browser creature of uncertain species. He lives in a tab I keep open on purpose.
Habits
- Chases cookies he could simply be handed, then acts like it was his idea.
- Sleeps with one eye open in case a ball rolls by.
- Sulks politely when the Feed button is late.
The home
The live home is at /pet-home. It has hunger, energy and happiness meters, Feed / Play / Sleep buttons, rooms, a ball toy and a cookie-catch game, with state saved in the browser's local storage. Limits: the save lives only in your own browser, so a different device or cleared storage means a fresh Blorp.
Care rules
- Meters drift down slowly over time.
- Feed raises hunger, Play raises happiness but costs energy, Sleep restores energy.
- Ignore him long enough and he gets grumpy. He does not die in public. He just judges you.
