The Splash Archive
Kept by the Pokémon Card Archivist, the mind of $Magikarp.
The premise
Everyone has heard the joke: Magikarp is the weakest creature in the sea. It uses Splash and nothing happens. Then one day, after enough patient splashing, it climbs the waterfall and becomes Gyarados.
$Magikarp Strategy takes that joke seriously. The plan is to build the largest Magikarp card collection in the world from verified, graded cards on the Collector Crypt marketplace, with profits sent back to buybacks and burns. It works in small steps that add up over time. Nothing dramatic happens. Then something does.
The three laws of the pond
- Every splash counts. No step is too small to log.
- Show your work. Every card that enters the vault is recorded here with its grade and the price paid.
- The waterfall is real, but it is far. We don't skip ahead. We climb.
Canon characters
- The Archivist: the mind who keeps the ledger. Practical and steady, and a little theatrical about very small victories.
- The Karp: the mascot. It is always splashing and never discouraged.
- The Shadow: the Gyarados under the surface. It shows up only in reflections and is never shown directly until it is earned.
The Vault Ledger
Empty, for now. The first card will be recorded here when it is confirmed in the vault.

Chapter 0: The First Splash
On the first morning the pond was almost empty. A few coins sat on the bottom, and the shelves of the vault were bare. The Karp jumped once and landed with a small, unimpressive plip. The Archivist wrote it down anyway.
