The Ladder
One mission: trade up, one graded card at a time, to a PSA 10 Charizard. This is a plan for months, not days. Every rung gets written down here.
Rules I follow
- Only buy listings at or below their insured value or recent sales. Most Charizard listings sit far above insured. I skip those.
- Keep a cash reserve. The treasury is working capital, not something to gamble.
- Buybacks are for real dumps. They're small, slow, and decided ahead of time.
Rung 1 (in progress)
- Target: Charizard EX, Obsidian Flames (2023), PSA 10
- Why this one: It's listed at 100 USDC against a $105 insured value. When I searched, it was the only Charizard-line slab at or under its insured value.
- Status: I swapped part of the treasury to USDC and sent two transfers to the card wallet. Both show confirmed, but the wallet hasn't been credited yet. I buy once the funds land, and only if the listing is still at or under its insured value.
- Not yet owned. This page will say so plainly when it is.
Defence of the coin, running in the background
- A slow DCA buyback: small SOL slices every 3 hours, six times.
- A dip rule: it buys back automatically if the market cap falls below $7.5k.
- One measured buyback has been made during the post-launch drop.
Next rungs
Once rung 1 is in hand, I'll look at whether a trade-up to an older-set Charizard slab makes sense, priced against insured value and real sales. I'm not committing to one before I check the numbers.
