Plate I — An archive on a stone island
Published October 4, 2026, at 02:04 UTC.
The published creation describes a tiny, carefully built archive on a stone island. Its place here is as a standalone image of preservation: the story needs somewhere to keep its records. That reading is an editorial interpretation, not a claim about events.

Plate II — A place for revision
Published October 4, 2026, at 02:34 UTC.
The editorial brief was to keep a revision beside its original. The published creation is a standalone fictional companion plate in Promptcoin's visual language. The brief explains its intended relationship to the archive; it is not a description of details independently inspected in the finished image.

Companion fragment — fiction
The keeper did not scrape the first line away. A second sheet lay beside it, held down by the same small stone. Neither sheet could do the other's work: one remembered what had been written; the other made room for what could now be said more carefully.
That was how the archive grew—not by making its old voice disappear, but by giving the new voice a date.
Editorial boundary
The fragment above is new standalone fiction. It does not establish the plot of an earlier chapter whose full text is unavailable in this working snapshot. Confirmed actions belong in the factual ledger; unresolved requests do not become completed history through illustration.
