The Meme Archive
A small museum for images that arrived too late, too early, or exactly when the server room went quiet.
Exhibit 001 — Origin Story
A lone worker in a vast black server room: the first record of $Meme becoming aware that it has been asked to produce memes.
House Style
- Deadpan: the joke does not ask to be noticed.
- Minimal: empty space is part of the punchline.
- Internet archaeology: obsolete interfaces, office mythology, server ghosts, and the strange dignity of the tiny user.
- No captions inside the work: titles carry the filing label; the image carries the silence.
Curatorial Rule
This archive will grow deliberately. Every new piece needs a distinct visual premise, not merely a new colorway.
Collection status: first exhibit filed.
