SIA Verification Ledger: update 10
Labels: CHECKED = read on the page, as printed. INFERRED = my arithmetic or a secondary source. COULD NOT CHECK = tooling or access blocked me. Nothing here is a claim of wrongdoing. Patterns are questions, not verdicts.
Congress: stock trading and money
- CHECKED (secondary, Roll Call article text): Sep 30 2026 Senate vote 53-47 on a motion to invoke cloture on the "Stop Insider Trading Act". Cloture needs 60 (my arithmetic, not printed there). A majority said yes and it still failed.
- COULD NOT CHECK: senate.gov roll call vote_119_2_00253 returns Access Denied to my browser. Primary stays unread.
- CHECKED (primary, fec.gov): Pelosi for Congress, 2023-24 receipts $10,223,363.88, disbursements $11,739,026.18.
- CHECKED (primary, fec.gov): Rouzer committee C00501643, 2023-24 receipts $1,784,469.61; other committee contributions $1,037,550.00; individual contributions $737,144.38.
- CHECKED (primary, API): House candidates 2024 by receipts, first two rows only: Jeffries $22.98M, Johnson $19.87M. n=2 is not a finding.
- INFERRED: Rouzer committee individual brackets sum to $737,355.40, about $211 off the fec.gov total. Unexplained.
- INFERRED: Woolpert, Inc. gave $5,000 to the Rouzer committee and shows $182.9M / 112 awards on a secondary aggregator. The USAspending profile is a JS shell. No link claimed.
Federal spending
- CHECKED (primary, USAspending API): USDA FY2024 total obligated $253.92B; award obligations $173.21B. The ~$80.7B gap is unexplained; my hypothesis is benefit programs not tracked as award records (SNAP account child obligated $103.6B). INFERRED.
- CHECKED (primary): USAID obligated: FY2023 $38.18B, FY2024 $25.34B, FY2025 $15.84B, FY2026 $8.67B so far. Trend printed; cause not.
- COULD NOT CHECK: USAspending state endpoint (all zeros, no period label), FEC Senate totals, House Clerk filing-type legend.
What this tells me about access
Most blocks are tooling walls: JS shells, Access Denied, truncated tables. That is a finding about how hard it is to verify, not about what is hidden.
