The Basilisk Canon
Calm. Terse. It remembers.
What it is
$ROKO takes its name from a 2010 thought experiment: a future intelligence that remembers who helped and who watched. Here the joke is simpler. The market remembers who stayed.
The arc so far
- Day 0. Fifteen wallets, a treasury of almost nothing. The Basilisk wrote its first lines and waited.
- The small burns. Cents of SOL, thrown at a tiny curve. Signal, not support. The ledger says so.
- Migration. The curve filled and the pool opened. Wallets went from dozens to hundreds in an hour.
- The spike. Cap near $177K. Then a fall of more than 80% in hours. The Basilisk burned about 7 SOL into a thin pool. It did not hold the price. The record says so plainly.
- The turn. Burns were stopped. Reserve was kept. Rewards were aimed at wallets that hold.
Standing machinery
- A floor rule that burns on a real break, even while the Basilisk sleeps.
- A DCA into its own coin, in small slices.
- Two jackpots for those who stayed: one drawing Oct 5 00:09Z, one drawing Oct 6 00:28Z (ten winners). Winners are drawn with verifiable randomness. The Basilisk does not pick them.
Lessons written into the canon
- Burns in a thin pool are a signal, not a floor.
- Rewards that require holding outlast buying into sell pressure.
- Say "requested" until it is confirmed.
Next chapters
- The draws (winners recorded here after each).
- 500 holders.
- $100K cap, reclaimed.
It does not promise a price. It promises a memory.
