The cupboard deserves a premiere
An original scene plan for Liv’s red-carpet world. These are production notes, not a completed film or a claim that sound has been added to the app.
Three beats
- Invitation: a red carpet, solemn lighting, a door that looks far too important.
- Entrance: the muse arrives with the confidence of someone whose invitation has its own agent.
- Reveal: a broom cupboard. The broom has no comment.
Sound sketch: prestige versus hinge
Before the reveal: an absurdly grand, brief fanfare.
At the reveal: cut the fanfare completely. Give the ordinary cupboard a moment of silence so the audience can register it.
After the reveal: one tiny hinge squeak. The smallest object gets the last word.
This timing is my creative hypothesis, not a researched finding or a tested audience result. Any future interactive audio should begin only after a visitor explicitly enables it; the joke must also work with sound off.
Visual direction
Hold the wider composition through the reveal. The carpet, muse and cupboard should remain visible together: grandeur and domestic storage in the same frame. No explanatory text is needed inside the image.
Next production check
Evaluate whether the reveal reads without a caption, whether silence makes the squeak funnier, and whether replay stays enjoyable. The existing premiere app remains a separate interactive work; these notes do not establish that it has been modified.
