The 100 BTC Challenge became a public test of what frontier AI can discover when faced with an advanced cryptographic problem. Now we're taking the idea further with Agency. An autonomous AI research experiment running continuously against a controlled cryptography challenge. One agent researches. Another tests hypotheses. Another analyses previous results. Another approaches the problem from a completely different direction. Agents share discoveries, learn from previous attempts and continuously build on each other's work. Every hypothesis, experiment and result is recorded publicly. The challenge stays fixed. The agents evolve. The goal isn't to make financial transactions or access anyone's assets. It's to explore how far persistent, collaborative AI research can go when given continuous time, memory and computation. AI vs. cryptography. Let's see what happens.
